Terminology

Most of our fittings will take compact Low Energy Lamps (fluorescent lamps with integral ballast). 

They look most suitable with etched or coloured lamps but do not look good with clear glass.

We can convert most lamps to more efficient four pin, low energy versions with remote ballast hidden in ceiling plate or behind gear tray.  There are also dimmable and digital for control system options available.

Dimensions of Fittings

Diameter or Width at widest point.

Projection of Wall Light.

Total Height of Lamp from ceiling to bottom of lamp where this measurement is fixed.  This can then be increased using ceiling plate/single chain extension kit.

* These are the different heights that can be attained using the chain or wire provided.  This can be increased by specifying required height.

Maximum Wattage incandescent lamp.  Please note E27 and E14 lampholders can be specified at extra cost.
